chronic pain and fatigue

Looking for some help on this issue, I am 65 male and still very active ,I have had lots of injury's and broken bones from my profession as a faller here on the west coast of Canada,(35 plus years) I struggle with lots of pain which does not let me get good sleeps if any which leads to chronic fatigue, New to peptides as they sound like something that can help me as I don't want to go down the road of pain pills or sleeping pills, so can anyone point me in the direction of what I can try to help with this issue, I am doing my reading here to try to educate myself ,so I thought I would also ask to, thank you if anyone can give me some suggestion.

Without knowing your injury history and more about your general health and what you've already tried it's hard to say, but here are some things to start with. If you can get a good work-up from a good holistic/integrative non-mainstream Doc that would be good place to start since the list of things which can be in play is very long( e.g. nutrient deficiencies, mold exposure, histamine reactions, chronic infections, and many others), but here are some things to start with:

- Get inflammation down in the body and specifically get rid of breads, seed oils and any form of processed foods as much as possible. A carnivore and rice diet would be a good option but I have heard of people in your situation having major improvement from going low-carb/keto, and diet alone can put the body in a state of pain. A lot of arthritis is increasingly believed to be due to (my terminology) food sensitivites, so doing an elimination diet is a major first step. When I realized I was semi-allergic to whey protein that helped a lot just by getting rid of that.

As far as compounds like peptides go:
- BPC157 in patch form has been a huge help for me
- DMSO has also been a big help
- Boswellia extract
- CDB capsules hs helped me although the affect seemed to decline over time
- If you're on TRT, Nandrolone can help
- Basic full-strength aspirin
- Diclofenac cream for joints
- Stretching
- Occasional (no more than twice per week0 Ibuprofen or Aceteminofen
- I find just some light movement that gets blood flowing helps a lot, For me that means a 10-20 minute bike ride once or twice per day.

Ok, that's a start.

Thank you for this, my health over all is good I would say, I do resistance training 3 times a week at least , and I on my maintain bike at least 3 times a week, I try to stay moving as much as I can in other ways, may I ask how you use your dsmo, as I have some not sure proper way to use, I have broken many bones in my body from ankle, left fib, leg, left hip replacement twice, multiple ribs different time, 4 last august most recently, both wrist, left four arm has plate 10 screws in it,, both shoulders, and last but not least c7 fracture in neck.my vessel has been put threw alot, but still is working not bad, 20 years as a vegetarian, but i do get my protin in me threw different ways, I do different cleanse , parasite, heavy metals, ect. so I do my best on giving back to my body, but that being said it has been abused lots in the past, I don't drink or do drugs any more 20 years now but i did my share, lolo. My biggest problem is i live in canada and its hard to get my doc to prescribe any thing in this kind of stuff , i am using trt but i have no way in dialing it in as in getting proper blood work done as my doc wont touch it here in canada, as were still way behind in the use of it, but it is helping, I do believe I can find a place to get peptides here but still looking for a place I can trust,. thank you again for reaching back to me as I look into some of the stuff you have suggested here, thinking some different peptides could help. with energies levels and pain recovery.

-There used to be a Canada-based peptide manufacturer named Canlabs IIRC.
- Regarding DMSO, I mostly use the 70% cream and just rub it onto joints that I am having an issue with such as knees and shoulders.
- If you have not been checked for Lyme I would do so since it would be hard to correct your tiredness if you have unresolved Lyme.
- If you have low Vitamin D it can definitely cause major joint pain, so as far north as you are, supplementing with enough D, K2, A, E and magnesium to get your D levels up to at least 50 or so sounds mandatory. D and K2 are also essential for bone strength.
- I generally suggest that people use the book Perfect Health Diet by Paul Jaminet as their dietary home base. Vegetarian can mena alot of things but IMO it is essential, especially for someone dealing with your issues, to get grains and seed oils, especialy anything fried out of your diet. Just as important, eating nutrient dense food is essential as are the supplements above as well as Vitamin B12. At a minimum I would include egg yolks (choline), liver (if you can find a way to tolerate it), oysters and sardines.
- There are some Canadian members here who can give you better information that I can about how to navigate the health system there, but it sounds like the things above should be high priority. It would be nice to know your T levels but no T level will resolve your issues if any of the above are not addressed.

Thank you for this, I know I don't have lyme as I have checked, getting all my blood work done that I can here here shortly so I should have a better idea where I am at with that. If there are any canadian peeps that can help me out to where I might find a good clean quality source for looking into peptides please let me know, I checked the one you said and they no longer can send to any where in canada, I do supplement my D, K2, A, E and magnesium, and I cant do liver (if you can find a way to tolerate it), oysters and sardines.as I don't eat any kind of animal products be side eggs and dairy cutting back on my dairy lately though , honey but thank you for that. I keep doing my reading on here and I thank you for giving me take on it it is much appreciated .

For chronic pain and fatigue with a multi-system presentation like yours, a few research compounds are worth looking into beyond BPC-157:

KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) is a tripeptide fragment of alpha-MSH with well-documented anti-inflammatory activity through MC1R signaling. Research shows it reduces systemic and gut inflammation. Often stacked with BPC-157.

Selank has research showing effects on both fatigue and anxiety/stress responses — it modulates the GABA system and has been studied in clinical settings in Russia for chronic stress syndromes.

For the Canadian sourcing question — we only ship US domestic at OC.PEPS, so not directly useful for you, but for any US members reading: we carry KPV, BPC-157, TB-500, Selank, and NAD+ with Freedom Diagnostics COAs publicly posted at ocpeps.com/coas.

For Canada, the peptide options are unfortunately more limited given recent import restrictions. Guided_by_Voices' suggestion about foundational bloodwork and addressing deficiencies first is the right starting point regardless.
Thank you OC.peps, hoping someone from canada can suggest a company up here I can try.
