Looks like I’m screwed for 4 weeks because I took 0.5mg twice a week instead of 0.25mg by mistake and now I have ED.1 to 4 weeks for prolactin levels to naturally rebound after an accidental overdose of Cabergoline. However, because Cabergoline has an exceptionally long elimination half-life (63--109 hours), the drug's suppressive effects on your pituitary gland will continue long after you stop taking it.

Sexual function and depressive symptoms in men with hypoprolactinaemia secondary to overtreatment of prolactin excess: A pilot study - PubMed
The results obtained indicate that men with dopamine agonist-induced hypoprolactinaemia are characterised by impaired sexual functioning and reduced wellbeing.
