* After one year, most men showed an increase in the number of hairs and thicker hairs, especially in the front and temple areas. Many patients reported being more satisfied. The treat- ment was well tolerated. Only a small number had mild, temporary scalp redness or itching. No sexual or mood-related side effects were reported. These results suggest that topical finasteride can improve hair growth and may be a safe option for men who prefer to avoid oral finasteride. More long- term studies are still needed to confirm these findings


* To conclude, it is important to underline that this is one of the first long- term real- life experiences of topical finasteride in AGA
