Semen Analysis and trying to conceive, protocol changes

Hi just received my semen analysis results and feeling a bit concerned. I’d love to hear the experience from other members in this group about conceiving while on TRT. A bit about me, 39 years old and have been on TRT for 5 years. Currently 14mg daily and HCG 500 IU 3 times a week. Was taking 300 IU 3 times per week until about 2 months ago when me and my wife decided we would start trying. My semen analysis, which I’ll post below, shows low semen and low mobility.

Concentration 3.8 M/ml
Total sperm number - 13.3 M Ideal - >39 M
Total Motility - 19% Ideal - > 42%
Progressive 12% Ideal - > 30%
Rapid Progressive 7%
Slow Progressive 5%
Non Progressive 7%
Immotile 81% Ideal - < 58%
Normal Forms 5%

I am interested to hear what protocol changes the forum recommends. More HCG? Adding Clomid? Stoping TRT and what that experience is like? Any other ways to stimulate FSH? Success stories will also help to reduce some stress for me and my wife.

I also sauna about 5 times per week which I may need to stop during this process.

We are both eager to have kids and don’t want to delay getting pregnant due to my TRT protocol but I am also concerend about the process of temporary coming off. From what I understand, if I change nothing I can still get her pregnant but it may take longer. I greatly appreciate any and all suggestions and experiences from other members. Thank you.

Thank you very much. I will read through this as well as take a deep dive into the forums.

Do doctors often prescribe FSH? Is it expensive or covered by insurance often? Of course I will be scheduling an appointment to discuss all of this with my doctor but I want to come in prepared.

If you can't get it or it's too expensive, you could order it through a China pharmacy.
